Co-Curricular Enrichment Program (CCEP)
The Co-Curricular Enrichment Program (CCEP) began on August 14, 2024, featuring 21 activities held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:40 to 3:30 PM. Activities include Dance, Music, Art and Craft, Theatre, Sports, Karate, and String Instruments (Violin and Guitar). While most are led by academy teachers, Violin, Guitar, and Karate are outsourced. Open to Grades 4-9, each activity supports up to 35 students, fostering holistic development. In October, CCEP and Club activities were held for two weeks, featuring a variety of activities like Classical Dance, Karate, Violin, Football, and clubs such as TED-Ed, Eco Club, and Debate Club, promoting skill development and creativity.

World Environment Day 2024
The World Environment Day 2024 celebration at The SOBHA Academy featured Ms. Lisy Suresh, Panchayat President of Vadakkenchery, as the chief guest. Principal Ms. Rajitha Rajeevan, Vice Principal Ms. Deepa S.C., and Ms. Minakshi Balakrishna from CLLE spoke on environmental conservation. Dr. Sunil from CLLE also attended. The event concluded
with a sapling planting ceremony by Ms. Lisy Suresh, Mr. Parameswaran (Senior Manager, Sri Kurumba Educational and Charitable Trust), Principal, Vice Principal, and the Manager of Social Empowerment, highlighting the school’s commitment to sustainability.

unity. Cultural performances and inspiring speeches highlighted the importance of
independence. The celebration ended joyfully with sweets distributed to all attendees.

activities like Antakshari, a dance relay, and on-spot choreography. The event concluded

The SOBHA Academy hosted a two-day reading program on June 19 & 20, 2024, to foster a love for literature. Day one featured programmes by our students featuring storytelling by Sreenanda, a speech by Sreya, and insights by Anusree, followed by a literary quiz. On day two, characters in costumes introduced books, with reviews by our students Devika, Jeslin, Sreehari, and Ayrananda. Ms. Anju’s storytelling and recitations by Archana K B, Aiswarya, Aryakrishna, and Anjana H captivated the audience, promoting literacy and enthusiasm for reading.

On 21st June 2024, the Middle School celebrated International Yoga Day with prayers by Sreelakshmi, Safa, and Anusree, a speech by Ms. Sumi on yoga’s benefits, and a yoga demonstration by asana Mr. Sreekandhan. An audio meditation session followed, promoting mindfulness. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Niranjana from class 7C, leaving everyone feeling rejuvenated and inspired
